Donna, a 48-year-old Patient from USA is suffering from Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis or generally known as ALS. Right after Donna was diagnosed with ALS, her friend, Julie and she started looking online before they came to learn about Unique Access.
What treatments have you received with us?
Julie, Donna’s friend: Speech Therapy for the oral motor exercises to help her in swallowing and Speech PT to work on her balance and her core strength. Aquatic Therapy also a continuation of the PT, The Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber, Acupuncture, she’s had twice and the cells injection via IV and Lumbar Puncture as well as the Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation.
What improvements have you seen since starting Regenerative Medicine?
Julie, Donna’s friend: An improvement in her breathing especially in her overall endurance and then her muscles, her mouth or tongue and her facial muscles have gotten a lot stronger. So far, it hasn’t translated yet to better speech and swallowing at all times. Sometimes it is better, and then it goes back
but he said in eight to twelve weeks, she should really see a big difference.
How did you find about us?
Julie, Donna’s friend: Right after she was diagnosed, I was looking on the internet and sent her. I had no idea it was the same thing we figured out last night. So, she started looking into it in June and we came to find out it was the Unique Access.
What do you think of the facilities and staff?
Julie, Donna’s friend: Fantastic! Everybody is very friendly. The room is big and lets us do what we need to do and it’s been great. The TMS are great.
Do you think you made the right decision by coming here for treatment?
Julie, Donna’s friend: Absolutely, yes, I’m excited to see the results. You don’t get therapy for ALS. So it’s been great to be exposed to and to get all the therapy that she’s done.
Who is your biggest source of inspiration?
Julie, Donna’s friend: So she has three kids, five animals and a loving boyfriend. That’s her motivation. Her daughter’s an artist, very talented and her son’s a track Athlete and he’s going to be a Physiotherapist. So she talks to her boyfriend every day on the phone, and then he texts her funny pictures to keep her motivated and then she texts her kids every day. Her daughter sends her pictures of her dogs.
