Henrique Branco, a 47-year-old Ataxia patient from Canada came to Bangkok to receive Cellular Treatment with Unique Access Medical. He was diagnosed in 2010 with Spinocerebellar Ataxia Type III, Machado-Joseph Disease. Machado-Joseph Disease (MJD-III), also called Spinocerebellar Ataxia Type III, a rare form of ataxia (one of the symptoms is a lack of muscular control) that affects the central nervous system and characterized by the slow degeneration of the brain. Patients with MJD may become crippled and/or paralyzed.

What treatments have you received with us?
I received one injection of 30 million stem cells and then I got three lumbar injections of 30 million stem cells.
What improvements have you seen so far?
With each injection, I felt better and I can walk a little better. I’ve seen a slight improvement on my vision, because I have double vision. I also felt a slight improvement on my speech. I can walk without any assistance although I walk slow I am able to walk without any assistance, and get up from a sitting position.
How did you find out about us?
A friend of mine actually told me about Unique Access in Thailand, he spearheaded and got me involved in it and I decided to give it a shot and come.
How are the facilities and staff?
The staff are stellar, excellent, very attentive, very friendly, it’s indescribable. It’s been very pleasant here. I’ve been here a week and I am feeling very positive.
What message would you like to give to those considering Cellular Treatment?
I would like to say if you can do it, do it as soon as possible, as soon as you can. I know that financially it can be a burden, a hindrance, but if you can somehow get the funds, I strongly recommend it. Also the staff are very attentive and caring and that’s why like them.
