Sebastian Motor Neuron Disease Treatment

Sebastian, 63, Motor Neuron Disease, Australia

Sebastian Ravi, a 63-year-old man from Australia was diagnosed with Motor Neuron Disease back home. He found out about Unique Access when he was doing research on the internet. After contacting various treatment centers in many countries and considering all his options, he decided to opt for treatment with Unique Access Medical in Bangkok. He was skeptical at first but right after his treatments, he realised that it was not a mistake coming here. He received Cellular Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Aqua Therapy. For him Occupational Therapy was the most effective one. Sebastian’s wife talks to us about the treatment experience in Bangkok.

What improvements has your husband seen since starting the Cellular Treatment?

He noticed that his saliva has reduced quite a bit, whereas he used to be dependent on injections to stop the saliva. Since he started the treatment, he’s not doing the injections anymore. So, he has been really pleased with that. He is not feeling as tired and he’s saying that he feels a lot stronger. He actually feels better.

He’s feeling a lot happier, because with ALS you do get a lot of depression. He’s actually been able to smile and see the positive side of things now. He has a lot of hope. This place has given him lots of hope and that is so important for his recovery. These people here at Unique Access Medical have just given us that and it’s been a marvelous experience.

What can you tell us about the treatments he has had with us?

Sebastian started off with some Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy and that has helped intensely; in connection with Lumbar Puncture Cellular Therapy. He had no pain with it and immediately after he felt really alive and good. He noticed that he could swallow a little bit better. In his recent Occupational Therapy session, he was able to say a little bit, so he’s getting hope that his voice is going to come back. It’s just amazing. He absolutely loved it and it helps him with his balance and strengthens his muscles as well. He enjoys it and never wants to stop. He wants to keep going!

How did you find out about us?

Sebastian himself was doing a lot of research on the internet and he came across Unique Access Medical in Bangkok. We actually contacted other treatment centers before contacting here- Sweden, Russia, America. But we felt when we came in contact with Unique Access Medical, the approach they put forward was very loyal, honest, and caring. We felt very comfortable and we just said this feels right. It actually feels right. Even though we were skeptical, I must admit. We thought is this just a scam? How can this sound too good to be true. Normally when things are too good to be true, they are not. But, this is reality and it’s true.

What do you think of the facilities and staff?

Our Patient Representative is Faith. She was very good right from the start to the end. She has been communicating with us right up until now. She hasn’t stopped communicating with us and has been very good.

Everyone here has been very good and helpful. They are a really good team and they all work together to make it happen. Sebastian will email Faith, Sang, or any of the representatives and they will get back to us within 24 hours with an answer or a solution. The facility is in a really good location here, because we can actually walk to Central Plaza, which is just down the road and we are quite happy to do that on our own. We’ve done that a few times on our own, because it’s really close.

What message would you like to share with those considering Cellular Treatment?

Don’t hesitate! Do it soon rather than later. It’s best to do it as quickly as you can. As soon as you know that you’ve got a diagnosis that is not a good one, get onto it, because the sooner you do it the better it is for you. I know it sounds scary and very daunting, but once you are here you will feel so relaxed. They will all make you feel at home. Thanks to everyone here at Unique Access Medical- they have been wonderful. We are looking forward to coming back. In fact, we don’t want to leave. It’s been so good!
